PROMAT was in Arequipa, Peru for PERUMIN 2013. We met with many consulting groups and general contractors regarding PROMAT's Perfect Gravimetric Lime Slaking Systems as well as our innovative Flocculant Wetting Systems.
PROMAT will be exhibiting at the PTX show at the Toronto Congress Centre this coming May. We exhibited at the 2011 show and also participated with Volkmann Inc, who is one of our principals at the 2012 Powder and Bulk Solids show in Chicago. This year we are planning a 20' x 50' booth together with our principals. We are looking forward to seeing you if you are planning on coming.
One of our partner equipment manufacturers is a company called Ystral, who manufacture mixers. Ystral Mixers are not just any mixer however. This video provides a good example. Using an Ystral Conti 3 you can observe the induction of 100 Kg of sugar into water in just 15 seconds!
In the words (for lack of a better description) of Tim Allen from the sitcom Home Improvements - Arr Arr Arr.

The other day a couple of our people where at the Volkmann compound to engage in a little training. I guess I for one misunderstood what we signed them up for. The video below is a little sample of how far Volkmann will go to make sure their vacuum conveying systems will work well in your environment. The video demonstrates an explosion test for baking soda. I had no idea...
The Volkmann mantra is:
Sanitary, Safe, Trouble-Free Vacuum Conveying
and that is why they do extensive product testing before they put their vacuum conveyors to use on any product. If you own a Volkmann system rest easy.
Volkmann systems are particularly well-suited to dust-tight,
segregation-free and damage-free powder handling under vacuum. With
features such as “No-Tools” dis-assembly and easy cleaning, as well as
designs conforming to cGMP standards, air-driven Multijector® vacuum
generation and ATEX certification for explosion-proof applications –
it’s no wonder Volkmann is leading the industry with powder and granule
pneumatic conveyor solutions.
